 We are happy and honoured to welcome experienced Ashtanga Yoga teacher and
  practitioner Tim Feldmann to our shala in Malmö. Due to the Covid19 pande
 mic and other unforeseen events we had to postpone his 2020 visit. But we 
 are now delighted to be organising the workshop in August 2021on the weeke
 nd of 20th-22nd instead .\nTim will share with us not only his great energ
 y and humour\, but also his long time experience of the Ashtanga yoga meth
 od and deep knowledge in anatomy and mechanics of movement from his time a

 \nTim is the co-founder and captain of the world-wide recognized Miami Lif
 e Center which he runs with his wife Kino MacGregor. He has practiced yoga
  since 1994 and Ashtanga Since 1999. Authorized to teach directly by Patta
 bhi and Sharath Jois\, he explores core concepts and modern boundaries of 
 Patanjali’s yoga teachings alike. A practitioner of Ashtanga Yoga’s Advanc
 ed A Series Tim is dedicated to Ashtanga’s traditional method. Drawing upo

  Breath and Bandhas in Your Asana Practice \nIn this first session with Ti
 m you will locate your internal locks and drop into your breath to free yo
 ur practice.  Pattabhi Jois used to say\, “the Ashtanga practice is a brea
 thing practice – the rest is just bending!”. You will establish yourself f
 irmly in the foundations of breath with a clear physical understanding of 
 the use of the inner body bandhas. You will learn simple breathing to help
  your body find deep support and true strength\, for your mind to settle i
 nto one-pointed focus and to free your body. Experience how this ancient t

 d your teacher in this inspiring energy.\n13-15.30 Gateway Postures of The
  Primary Series \n(Bhujapidasana\, Kurmasana\, Supta Kurmasana)\nThe Prima
 ry Series\, Yoga Chikitsa\, is meant to heal and strengthen our body and m
 ind\, preparing us for a deeper and more subtle asana exploration in the I
 ntermediate Series\, Nadi Shodana. But sometimes we get stuck! The leg jus
 t won’t go where we want it to go or our knees\, wrists or shoulders seems
  more achy than happy when attempting the higher notes of this series\, al
 so called the 'Gateway Postures' as they serve as indicators that our body
  has grown ready for a next level. But what to do when we can’t find our b
 ody molding those fancy shapes?  This workshop addresses that issue by foc
 using on technique\, proper alignment and anatomical insights that will he
 lp you understand how your body moves and how to progress to the next leve
 l of your aptitude. We set up for a detailed experience of these difficult
  gateway postures\, slowly peeling the layers that obstruct our view and m

 helps you integrate your arms\, spine\, rib-cage and hip to create a solid
  platform for accessible and pleasurable inversions whether on your head\,
